Tesla just posted its best second-quarter deliveries ever — beating Wall Street’s ~409,000 estimate by about 20% — while US EV sales fell 20% after the $7,500 federal tax credit vanished. The tell isn’t the cars; it’s 1.48 million active FSD subscribers (up 56% year-over-year) and more than 55% of new North American Teslas leaving with FSD at delivery.
